Meet Michael-Todd Hall: The believer behind "The Sword of the Spirit"
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

Already Satan has numerous outlets to share bad and often terrible news about Christianity, the Church and by inference God. Therefore, it is important and all the more imperative from the Kingdom's perspective to counter attempts to misrepresent the goodness and grace of God manifest in His people, by informing, sharing and generally telling people and the world around us, the things God has done, and not be ashamed of doing so.
In the name of Jesus, every man and woman who is of the household of faith must prepare for the battle ahead—and put on the Belt of Truth. The truth about the Lord—that He is a sovereign God who knows everything about our strengths and our weaknesses. Put on the Breastplate of Righteousness. Through this, believers can guard their emotions.
Join me! Put on the Sandals of the Gospel of Peace—leave tracks of peace and stability, wherever you go. Carry the Shield of faith, in the left hand. Put faith in the Lord—and Him alone. Know how Satan, the Chief Complainer, bombards your mind—day and night—with evil thoughts, doubt, and fear. Put on the Helmet that will protect your mind. With the Helmet of Salvation, you will dwell on nothing but what is good and right and pleasing to the Lord.
Lastly, in the right hand, hold the Sword of the Spirit—the Word of God. Thank Him for the precious gift of the Word. It is strong and powerful—and able to defeat even the strongest of the Father of Lies' onslaughts. So by faith, take up the strong and powerful Sword of the Spirit that is able to defend you, your family and friends in time of attack; comfort you and them in time of sorrow, teach yourself in time of meditation—and prevail against the power of the enemy on behalf of others who need the truth to set them free.
I pray that every atheist, agnostic, and unrepentant sinner will break the chains that prevent them from proclaiming, with a bowed head and a humble heart: "I know the greatness of the LORD—that our Lord is greater than any other god.(Psalm 135:5)." In the battle "against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms," the Word values "fishers of men" that will testify about "how good and how pleasant it is for [believers] to dwell together in unity!" Be drum majors for justice! Be drum majors for peace! Be drum majors for righteousness! And all of the other shallow things will not matter.
